Today Angela Cobburn, Managing Director at Allander Homecare made a visit to Cue and Review, Print Speaking to the Blind in Bishopbriggs. Cue and Review are a talking newspaper service for the visually and reading impaired and the service is completely free to use. Volunteers read and record articles daily and weekly, which are then uploaded to the internet. Listeners to the service can enjoy articles from Herald Scotland, The Evening Times, The National and Inside Soap magazine. Allander Homecare have been promoting the Cue and Review service to their service users and in recognition of this Michael, Cue and Review’s Access to Audio Ambassador, was on hand to present Angela with a certificate in recognition of all of the previous and continuing work of the Allander Homecare staff to promote Cue and Review. Allander Homecare are proud to be recognised as one of Cue and Review’s first Corporate Partners and look forward to continuing the promotion of this important service for many years to come.
